Minimum Age: Scribe must be 18 years of age or older. 3. Qualification Limit: Own scribe must be at least one academic step below graduation level (12th pass / undergraduate or below). 4. Restrictions: Scribe must not be a relative, applicant in same exam, or coaching associate. 5. DAF Submission: Scribe details and disability certificate must be declared in DAF-I for Mains. 6. Extra Time: 20 minutes per hour (total 40 min extra for 2-hr Prelims papers; 60 min extra for 3-hr Mains papers).

Last year cut-off analysis

Prelims GS Paper 1 cut-off is out of 200 (CSAT is only qualifying at 33%). These figures are from the previous cycle, compiled by the SuoMoto team from the official UPSC cut-off sheet. In Prelims (GS Paper 1) 2024, general closed at 87, O B C at 86, S C at 79, and the Visually Impaired cut-off at 40. The VI cut-off was about 47 marks below general, because VI candidates compete on a separate horizontal list. The Blindness and Low Vision (VI) horizontal cut-off is set well below general.
