Who We Are
Suomoto is an audio-first, accessible exam preparation platform built exclusively for blind and low-vision aspirants preparing for Indian government competitive exams (SSC, IBPS, UPSC, and others). We are committed to earning and protecting your trust.
What Data We Collect
- Google Account information — your name and email address, collected when you sign in with Google. We do not access your Google password.
- Learning progress — chapters completed, practice test scores, mock test results, and study schedule — stored in your personal account to enable progress tracking.
- Preferences — font size, speech speed, and voice preference — stored locally on your device.
How We Use Your Data
- To personalise your dashboard, weak-area detection, and study schedule.
- To save and restore your progress across devices and sessions.
- We do not sell, share, or rent your personal data to any third party.
- We do not use your data for advertising.
Where Your Data Is Stored
Your learning data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in compliance with Google's data protection standards. Authentication is handled entirely by Google.
Your Rights
- You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
- You may request a copy of all data we hold about you.
- To exercise your rights, email support@suomoto.academy from the email address linked to your account.
Policy Updates
This policy will be updated as Suomoto adds new features. When material changes are made, we will notify signed-in users via an in-app announcement read aloud on the dashboard.
