Stenographer Grade C and Grade D
VI: LimitedCentral government ministries and departments · Grade C: Level 6; Grade D: Level 4
Stenographer posts requiring shorthand dictation and transcription. Office-based, but the skill test is shorthand-centred.
VI note: The Skill Test is a shorthand dictation-and-transcription test. SSC provides specific accommodation for VI candidates and for those who cannot operate a keyboard — confirm the accommodation for your case before relying on these posts.

VI / PwBD: 4% horizontal PwBD reservation mandated by RPwD Act 2016. Post-wise VI/LV vacancy count will be in the detailed vacancy table published by SSC on ssc.gov.in.
