SCRIBE ELIGIBILITY & RULES (Extracted from Official RRB CEN 09/2025 Notification, Para 11.7):
1. Automatic Eligibility: Blindness, Locomotor Disability (both arms affected), and Cerebral Palsy get scribe facility automatically if desired.
2. Other Categories: Scribe allowed on production of a certificate that the candidate has a physical limitation to write.
3. Definition Note: Candidates with visual disability of less than 40%, or who are one-eyed, are NOT considered Visually Impaired for this purpose.
4. Non-Candidate Rule: Scribe cannot be a candidate applying under this same CEN.
5. Extra Time: 20 minutes per hour of examination, including for eligible candidates who do not use a scribe.
6. Post Suitability: Check Annexure-A before applying — only Low Vision is recognised (not Blindness), and only 7 of 14 post types are marked suitable; field/track posts have no PwBD suitability at all.
