Scribe and compensatory time

Scribe qualification revised: scribe must be one academic level below the candidate (modified from the earlier 2–3 year gap rule). Medical certificate from a Government healthcare institution is mandatory for scribe approval. Compensatory time: 20 minutes per hour. Application fee for PwBD: Rs. 100 + 18% GST only. Age relaxation: 10 years for PwBD (Category A, B, C) and 15 years for PwBD (Category D, E).

Reserve Bank of India · Officer Grade B — basic ~₹55,200; CTC ~₹18–20 lakh per year

A direct-recruit officer role at the central bank, working on policy, regulation, supervision and administration. Among the most prestigious officer jobs in India.

VI note: Office and policy work; scribe and 20-minutes-per-hour compensatory time. One VI post is reserved under PwBD Category A.

Manager (Grade B) — DEPR / DSIM

VI: Suitable

Reserve Bank of India · Officer Grade B

Specialist streams — Economic Policy and Research (DEPR) and Statistics and Information Management (DSIM). Require a relevant postgraduate degree.
