    Office Assistant (Multipurpose)

    Accessibility: Suitable

    Regional Rural Banks (via IBPS) · Clerical cadre — basic ~₹15,000–19,000

    Branch banking in rural and semi-urban areas — customer service, cash, accounts. The most VI-accessible RRB post; no interview for this cadre.

    Accessibility & Quota note: Office and computer-based branch work; scribe and 20-minutes-per-hour compensatory time. Local-language proficiency is required.

    Officer Scale I (Assistant Manager)

    Accessibility: Limited

    Regional Rural Banks (via IBPS) · Officer Scale I — basic ~₹30,000

    Entry officer post in an RRB — branch officer work. Largely office-based with some field/agriculture exposure.

    Accessibility & Quota note: Office work is accessible; some rural field exposure exists — check the post-wise suitability for your case.
