Scribe and compensatory time

IBPS Clerk is one of the most VI-accessible banking exams — office-based, computer-based exam and work. Candidate-arranged scribe. Scribe must be one academic level below candidate. Compensatory time: 20 min/hour for Prelims and Mains. Note: IBPS Clerk is now officially renamed to Customer Service Associate (CSA) — same exam pattern and eligibility.

Step by step: what to do now

1) Scribe: Candidate-arranged at own cost — register at the time of application. 2) Compensatory time: 20 min/hour for Prelims and Mains. 3) Large print option: VI candidates can request large font (14pt) instead of scribe — not both simultaneously. 4) Disability certificate: from Government-recognised medical officer — original at exam centre. 5) Application fee: PwBD candidates pay Rs. 175 only. 6) State preference: select home state/language — proficiency in local language is tested in the interview-equivalent stage.
